Port Blair, Apr 19: As traffic police have started imposing challan in all possible corners of Port Blair city, in most of the branch roads one can see underage kids driving two wheelers in most dangerous manner.
This is known to everyone that Traffic police never sends challan teams in branch roads and taking advantage of this these kids indulge in rash driving in these narrow branch roads.
In branch roads of Austinabad, New Pahargaon, Shadipur etc one case see several gangs of these underage bike riders, who put lives of others on risk. It is common to see three to four youths in each racing bikes in these areas.
General Public urges the Traffic Department to send challan teams in interior branch roads too, atleast on holidays, to check such illegal activities.
Parents who give vehicles to kids and go to office must also ensure that underage kids do not get vehicles, which can be dangerous for both public and the kids.
