Port Blair, Apr 16: The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration Secretariat, Shri Anindo Majumdar released BAAKPROTIMA’s 150th Issue on the first day of Bengali New Year 1424 i.e. on Saturday, the 15th April 2017.
Baakprotima, the only RNI-registered Bengali Little Magazine was first published in November 1999. This is its 18th year of publication. For first 10 years it was being published as a ‘Monthly’. From January 2010 onwards it is being published as ‘Quarterly’.
The 150th issue of BAAKPROTIMA is marked as ‘Special Shorty Story Issue’ and it contains 12 (twelve) short stories including messages of Lt. Governor, Member of Parliament (Loksabha), Chief Secretary, CINCAN and 17 other writers-members of Baakprotima.
