Port Blair, April 10: The Directorate of Prohibition, A&N Administration in collaboration with Gayatri Pariwar Trust organized an awareness programme on “Ill effects of Alcoholism and Substance (Drugs) Abuse” at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.II, Port Blair.
The Programme organizers, Smt. Jantara Pant, CDPO and Shri. A.K. Biswas, Prob. Officer explained the context and the team of volunteers from Gayatri Pariwar Trust, S/Shri Sourabh More, Akash Patel and Sanjeev Mahato conducted sessions on meditation and spiritual thoughts with the help of video clipping. An oath was administered to students for not to get addicted and to make at least one person free from addiction in the society.
Besides, pamphlets, stickers in connection with the awareness programme were distributed among the students of KV No.II on the occasion.
