Port Blair, Apr 05: The Home Minister of India, Mr. Rajnath Singh, is arriving Port Blair tomorrow for a three day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
At Port Blair, the Port Blair Municipal Council is hoisting a grand civic reception in honour of the Union Home Minister.
The civic reception will be held at the Island Tourism Festival (ITF) Ground Port Blair at 6:00 pm on April 7, 2017.
The Lt Governor, the Member of Parliament and other dignitaries will also attend the civic reception.
The Union Home Minister will address the general public on the occasion.
During his visit the Home Minister shall be laying the foundation stone of one of the solar power plants of 17 MWp capacity (at Manglutan) and 8 MWp (at Chidiyatapu).
The function will be held at Manglutan village of South Andaman on April 7, 2017 at 09.30 am.
