Port Blair, March 17: Padma Shree Awardee, Mr. Naresh Chander Lal, Swachh Bharat Ambassador, Andaman & Nicobar Islands today visited the Primary Health Centre Manglutan and interacted with the Doctors, patients and the pradhans of Guptapara, Wandoor and Humfrygunj.
As far as the proper disposal of wastes was concerned it was found that the PHC was kept clean except the dumping yard where the authorities used to burn the disposed items. All the pradhans accepted to dispose the waste on monthly basis.
Later Naresh Chander Lal had a round of wards, toilets and nearby surroundings under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
