Kalighat, March 30: On a tip off, the Kalighat Police Team under the overall supervision of SHO Kalighat Sub-Inspector Rakesh Singh seized a Mahindra Jeep bearing registration number AN01/C-8570 at Kalighat Bazar and recovered 14 numbers of Unfinshied Padauk Sawn Timber measuring about 24.50 meters from the possession of three persons namely Dilip Bhowmick, Palash Mazumdar and Samar Mondal all resident of Kalighat.
All the three persons were detained Under Section 52 of Indian forest act 1927 and later handed over to the Ranger Kalighat range for further action.
