Port Blair, Mar 20: In the evening of 18th March, 2017, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, A& N Islands has convened a public meeting at Hope Town village-Ward No.3.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Kurma Rao, a prominent villager & also party worker of ward No-3 of Hope Town village.
Mr. Ray, M.P. through the power point presentation has given awareness of various schemes launched by Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India for the benefit of poor publics of the country under the slogan of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”.
Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P. while addressing huge gathering through the power point presentation has briefed about the harmfulness of using tobacco and alcoholic products, which causes serious disease like mouth cancer, lung disease, heart disease etc. He further appealed to the general public to avoid use of all such products declared “BAN” BY the A & N Administration.
Mr. Ray, M.P. has also briefed about various developmental works under taken by the A & N Administration under the various schemes of the BJP lead government.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks of Mr. Madhusudhan Rao, Pradhan, Hope Town Gram Panchayat.
