Port Blair, Mar 14: The Special Squad of PS Aberdeen solved a robbery case took place at Nayagaon and arrested 03 persons namely Smt. Punam (30) yrs R/o Delanipur, Sandeep Guha (30) yrs R/o Junglighat and Bipul Biswas (45) yrs R/o Bathu Basti.
On 07.03.2016 Smt. Riti Singh, W/o Shri Sanjeev Lall (38) yrs, R/o Near Hotel S. L. International, Prothrapur lodged a complaint regarding robbery by unknown persons who had entered into her mother’s house and robbed gold ornaments & cash. On the basis of the above complaint a case was registered at this PS vide FIR No. 118/2017 dtd. 07.03.2017 U/s 454/392/34 IPC. Upon this the special team of PS Aberdeen consisting of HC R. Radha Krishnan, HC V. Hentho, HC Vijay Shanker, PC Ashok, PC P. K. Mondal and PC Rasheed on putting all materialistic and logical efforts, succeeded to apprehend the accused persons and recovered the gold ornaments. Presently all were remanded to judicial custody by the Hon’ble CJM, Port Blair. Further investigation of the case is continuing.
The special team has worked extremely hard in cracking such blind cases and has time and again shown their devotion to their duties. The entire operation took place under the direction of Inspr. A. K. Singh, SHO PS Aberdeen and overall supervision of SDPO (SA) Shri Nishant Gupta.
