On the auspicious occasion of ‘Holi’, I extend my warm and heartiest greetings to the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Holi represents one of the most colourful events in the cultural fabric of our country. This joyous festival of Holi is a symbol of our rich tradition, diversity and multi-cultural heritage. This festival also spreads the message of mutual love, unity, brotherhood and harmony amongst the people in the society. On this occasion, I appeal to the people of these Islands to celebrate the festival with the spirit of brotherhood and harmony. I also wish that the festival will bestow happiness, peace and prosperity to the people of the Islands.
