Port Blair, March 12: Two miscreants in a heavy sports bike today tried to loot a Car Owner namely Mr MA Rehmaan, a resident of Sisty Nagar, Port Blair near Air India Head Office Junction.
The miscreants reportedly vandalized the Car before attempting the loot.
According to reports, Mr MA Rehmaan, Chief Commercial Assistant, AIR India left from his home today morning at 06:00am and when he reached near Syndicate Bank, the heavy sports Bike reportedly crossed the car of MA Rehmaan at a very high speed.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the Car Owner Mr MA Rehmaan said that after the sports Bike crossed him at a very high speed he continued for his office towards Bengali club but before reaching the office the same bike again came in front of his Car. As per details reaching near the car, the rider as well as the pillion rider of the Bike, who were seemed to be, under heavy influence of drugs, vandalized his Car.
“When I came out of my car, to know the reasons behind such acts, the miscreants tried to snatch my car keys and also tried to snatch my watch. They later alleged that my car had hit someone on road while coming but when I asked them to show the place they ran away,” said Mr MA Rehmaan.
Such cases of attack/loot and snatching are increasing in city and approximately more than 4-5 such cases were reported recently in the Aberdeen Police Station. City residents now demand the Police Department to take necessary action to stop such crimes in the City.
It is learnt that an NC FIR has been registered in the Aberdeen Police Station and the Aberdeen Police Unit is trying to trace the miscreants but till now they have failed to catch the Miscreants. As per the Victim Mr MA Rehmaan, he can recognise the miscreants but he could not note down the number of the sports Bike.
