Port Blair, Mar 07: The Annual Festival of Panguni Utsav of Sri Nagakanni Murthumariamman Temple, Dollygunj, Port Blair, South Andaman will be celebrated from 5th to 11th March 2017.
The inauguration of Festival with Kappukattu Ceremony (Rakshabandan) will take place on 05/03/2017 from 6.00pm to 6.30pm. Thereafter, Special Puja, Arathi etc will be held from 6.30pm everyday from 05/03/2017 to 11/03/2017.
Debarathani Puja will be held on 10/03/2017 (Friday) and Thiruvilakku Puja at 3.00pm. There will be procession from Dollygunj Sri Sivan Temple starting from 9.00am and will reach Sri Nagakanni Muthumariamman Temple at about 11.00am and thereafter Milk Abhishek and Aradhana Puja will be performed.
The concluding ceremony will be marked on Monday 13/03/2017 with the removal of Kappu and Annadanam. It is expected that large number of devotees across the islands shall participate in the festival and get the blessings of the Almighty.
