Diglipur, Mar 7: The Assistant Commissioner of Diglipur region today visited the new fish market which was inaugurated by DC N & M Andaman at Ward No 5 of Subhashgram.
During the visit, the fishermen reportedly complained the AC that the new place is not suitable for their business. The AC gave a patient hearing and assured them to solve the teething problems of the fish vendors.
He asked regular buses to halt at the fish market in on both routes, autos were asked to use as share-auto from the fish market, he asked the fish vendors to stop selling fishes to door to door, he also asked the Police Department to deploy police personnel during peak hours and he also assured of look into the matter of shortage of Ice Blocks at Diglipur area.
