Port Blair, Mar 01: The Institution of Engineers (India), Andaman & Nicobar State Centre had organized a Technical lecture on “Water Front Engineering” on Wednesday, 01.03.2017 at ALHW Conference Hall.
Dr. J. D. Agrawal, Scientist–D, of Central Water Power Research Station (CWPRS), Pune delivered the lecture which was attended by a large number of Engineers from different technical departments of Govt., Private organisations, Members of The Institution of Engineers (India), State Centre etc. Following the technical session was the Interactive Session in which many technical pertinent questions were raised by the participants & same was discussed at length.
Earlier at the outset the Chairman of the State Centre, Er. D. Satyamoorthy, FIE, DCE (Mech.), ALHW welcomed the Guest Speaker & the gathering while Er. T. N. Krishnamoorthy, Past Chairman, IEI, ANSC & DCE (Civil), ALHW honoured the guest with a shawl.
Honorary Secretary of the State Centre, Er. Johnson Abraham,MIE, Consultant gave a brief about the Guest Speaker & proposed the Vote of Thanks.
