Port Blair, Feb 27: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Diglipur organized Block Level Volleyball Knockout Tournament under the programme of Block Level Inter Youth Club Sports Meet at Panchayat Ground, Ramnagar (Aadharsh Gram) on 26.02.2017 in which 04 teams from different Youth Clubs of Diglipur zone participated.
Shri Suboth Mondal, Up-adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman was the chief guest and he delivered speech about the important of sports for development of our country.
Shri Swapan Biswas, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Ram Nagar was also present as guest of honour.
The final match was played between Agni Youth Club, Kalighat V/s Nabagram Youth Club, Nabagram. Agni Youth Club was defeated to Nabagram Youth Club, Nabagram by 3-0.
Shri Suboth Mondal, Up-adhyaksh, Zill Parishad, North & Middle Andaman and Shri Swapan Biswas, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Ram Nagar were present in the prize distribution ceremony.
Shri Jagjeevan Ram, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Diglipur welcomed the respectable persons and all the participated teams and delivered a speech about the important of sport for youths. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri Protap Dhali, NYV, NYK,Diglipur.
