Port Blair, Feb 23: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Diglipur organized District Level Folk, Art & Cultural Festival in collaboration with Gram Panchayat, Radhanagar at School ground, Shyamnagar on 22.02.2017 in which near about 80 male and female participants from different youth clubs and Mahila Mondals of Diglipur zone participated.
Smti. Sushma Biswas, Vice-Principal, GSSS Swarajgram was the chief guest. Shri Bhaskar Mazumder, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Radhanagar was also present as guest of honour.
On the occasion Folk Song, Folk Dance, Patriotic Song and One Act Play were organized. Smti. Sushma Biswas,Vice-Principal, Swarajgram was awarded to the participants. Shri Jagjeevan Ram, District Youth Coordinator welcomed the respectable persons and gathering and he also highlighted about the important of cultural programme. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri Protap Dhali, NYV, NYK, Diglipur.
