Port Blair, Feb 21: The first edition of Assistant Commissioner’s Cup 2017, the AC Cup 2017 began with a much fan fare and huge enthusiasm among the youth of Campbell Bay on 19th Feb, 2017 at Mini Stadium.
Twenty 20 League-Cum-Knockout Cricket Tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Commandant S. Prem Kumar (CO, Indian Coast Guard, Campbell bay) in presence of Dr. Mohd Rehan Raza, Assistant Commissioner Campbell Bay on 19th Feb, 2017 at Mini Stadium.
The echo of the sound of the crowd at the mini stadium itself tells the story of success of the idea behind organizing this T20 cricket tournament. The office of the A.C, Campbell Bay has left no stones unturned to make this sporting festival a grand success. In total 16 teams are participating.
The first match was played between INS Baaz (Indian NAVY) Vs Island stars in which the INS Baaz became victorious.
The second match was played between ADMINISTRATION XI Vs 3U Det ( Navy ) which was a cracker in which 3U Det became victorious.
