Port Blair, Feb 21: The Aam Aadmi Party will be contesting in the coming elections of Loksabha as well as Municipal and Zilla Parishad in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, said the Prabhari of South India, Aam Aadmi Party, Mr Somnath Bharti.
After a four day visit of these islands, the Prabhari of South India, Aam Aadmi Party, Mr Somnath Bharti while returning to mainland today told Andaman Sheekha that the performance of AAP, Andaman & Nicobar Island under the leadership of Mr. Sanjay Meshack is encouraging and thus party will be contesting for the Loksabha as well as all other elections in 2019 & 2020.
Mr Somanath Bharti said that people are looking for a change even in these remote islands and AAP is ready to bring the positive change. “The AAP organization in Andaman & Nicobar Islands will further work more to strengthen the organization and take AAP to a win-win situation in the coming elections,” Mr Somnath Bharti said.
Mr Somanath Bharti along with Ms Alka Lamba, Mr Deepak Vajpai, Mr Arvind Barwa visited these island from 18 February to 21 February. During the visit the party also held a public meeting at Tiranga Park, Aberdeen Bazaar. Top leaders of AAP also visited a number of Islands and met the general public.
Further talking to Andaman Sheekha, Mr Sanjay Meshack, In charge, AAP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands thanked the general public for the support shown during the Public Meeting held at the Tiranga Park, Aberdeen Bazaar on 18th February.
