Diglipur, Feb 10: Under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana a vocational training centre launched at Panchayat Hall, Gram panchayat, Ramnagar yesterday. The training programme was inaugurated by Labour Commissioner N & M Andaman Mr. Madhu also attended by Pradhan, Ramnagar Gram Panchayat Mr Swapan Biswas, Up Pradhan Mrs. Phulmani Tigga, Sarpanch Namjan Barla and villagers. Thirty trainees are enrolled for this programme which will benefit the educated unemployed youths and women who belongs to low income groups and underprivileged sections of the society to make them self reliant and self sustainable. Courses
offered during this programme are Assistant plumber, Electrical domestic and Soft and entrepreneurship skills.
Speaking on this occasion Labour Commissioner Mr Madhu expressed happiness that many men women are coming forward and honing their skills in various sectors and becoming independent. He exhorted the trainees to make best use of their skills and also enlightened them about various programmes. This vocational training centre is the extension centre of ITI Dollygunj under SDI scheme. Earlier the guests were welcomed by Mr Madhu and vote of thanks was proposed by Mr Narender, Skill development initiative in charge.
