Port Blair, Feb 09: A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Andaman & Nicobar Gazetted Officers’ Association was held at Port Blair recently. The meeting while discussing the implementation of the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations, expressed concern over the undue delay in the revision of various allowances even though the pay was revised with effect from 1.1.2016. The meeting decided to expand the activities of the Association by enrolling all the Gazetted Officers working in these islands as Members of the Association.
Shri Nasib Khan, President, Andaman and Nicobar Gazetted Officers’ Association presided over the meeting. Shri D. Ayyappan, General Secretary of the Association spoke on the occasion.
