Port Blair, Feb 09: As it was feared by residents, a major pothole in New Pahargaon area today caused a major accident leaving three people injured, one of them seriously.
According to detail at around 1.55 pm two Mopeds collided with each other at New Pahargaon Basti. According to residents of the area one of the moped Rider was trying to save his moped from the deep pothole, when he lost control over his vehicle, which reportedly caused the accident.
The injured people were immediately rushed to nearby hospital by PCR vehicle, called by residents of the area. An old resident, who was pillion rider, suffered heavy head injuries it is learnt.
