Port Blair, Feb 07: An invitational lecture on “Rock coast Shore Platform of Neil Island, South Andaman and use of Geospatial Techniques” was held at JNRM College by Professor Ashish Kumar Paul, Department of Geography, Vidyasagar University, Mindapore, West Bengal on 04th Feb in the P.G Department of Geography. He emphasized on the tremendous scope of research in the field of Coastal Geomorphology. Including UG and PG students, the faculty members attended the lecture. HOD Mrs. Pearl Devdas welcomed the gathering, Principal Dr. Francis Xavier addressing the students appreciated the department for organizing such lectures by eminent Geographer from mainland India. Dr. R.G.S Bhagel, Associate Professor, Department of Geography proposed vote of thanks.
