Port Blair, Jan 23: As part of the Republic Day celebrations this year, the Headquarters Naval Component, under the aegis of Headquarters Andaman and Nicobar Command, has taken the initiative of spreading awareness about the Indian Navy amongst the local population. With the theme ’Know our Navy’, the Indian Navy Ship Saryu will remain open for visitors from 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs on Wednesday, the 25 January 2017, at Haddo wharf. It would be a unique opportunity for all the people of A&N Islands, especially residents of Port Blair, including school children, and those at the deciding point of their career paths to visit the ship and know about the Navy.
