Port Blair, Jan 22: Smti. Rashmi Singh, Secretary (Social Welfare), A & N Administration, Shri. Jitendra Agrawal, Director (Social Welfare), A & N Admin. laid the foundation stone on 21/01/2017 at 10:00 Hours for Construction Work of “Anganwadi Centre at Mannarghat Ward No. I, in the presence of Shri O. Bashir, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Mannarghat alongwith Shri. Rajender Pal, Block Development Officer, Ferrargunj, Shri. Chozi, Executive Engineer, RCD, APWD, Shri. Hamson Issak, Assistant Engineer (PRIs), Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj, Shri. James, Programme Officer, Social Welfare and other dignitaries also large gathering of villagers were attended. Earlier a warm welcome was given by the villagers to the dignitaries then after Shri O. Bashir (Pradhan) & Shri. P. Abdul Manaf, P. Mohammed Haneefa, Smti. Magdali Kerketta, Smti. Rasheeda Bibi, Smti. Rakhi Lakra PRI members put on shawl to dignitaries. During their speech the dignitaries expresses their deep satisfaction over the upcoming project. They aware the villagers about ill effects of alcohol and preventive measure to be taken to keep away from alcohol. The Pradhan expressed his sincere thanks to the Officers for sparing their valuable time from busy schedule for Gram Panchayat Mannarghat.
