Port Blair, Jan 08: As per the Notification issued by the Election Commissioner (UTs) for A&N Islands, the Bye/Casual Elections against the vacancy caused in the Gram Panchayat Member Constituency of Nilambur Gram Panchayat under Rangat Tehsil and Nabagram Gram Panchayat under Diglipur Tehsil will be held on 05.02.2017.
All political parties, Contesting candidates and their Election agents are hereby informed to strictly comply with the provision of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands prevention of defacement of property Regulation, 1987 (1 of 1987) in its true letter and spirit to avoid any legal consequences.
Any violations of defacement of property regulation or MCC may be informed to the Office of the Director, Panchayat & Municipal Elections (Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman) over Telephone No. 238881.
