Port Blair, Jan 03: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, PCC President has requested the Secretary-cum-Director (Transport) to introduce more number of buses between Port Blair Bus Terminus and Garacharma via Shadipur, Chakragaoan, Austinabad, Protherapur, Pathargudda and Bathubasthi and vice versa.
Shri Kuldeep, in his letter, has stated that the students, particularly girl students, of Pathergudda, Austinabad, Calicut, Bathubasthi, Garacharma and the nearby villages of Port Blair as well as the students reaching by boat from villages of South Andaman are facing untold hardship / difficulties to reach the newly established “Andaman college” situated at Chakkragoan due to lack of bus service in this route.
Similarly the staffs of the college and general public are also finding difficulties to attend the college due to inadequate bus service in this route. The PCC President solicited an early action in this regard.
