Port Blair, Dec 30: In the wake of the central Government’s initiative for e-governance and cashless transaction, the Andaman & Nicobar Police has introduced POS machines at the Central Police Canteen and the Police Family Welfare Association Canteen at Police Line, Port Blair. This is a major step towards welfare of Police personnel and their families. The canteens will now accept both debit and credit cards.
Henceforth, all police personnel and their families are advised to bring their debit or credit cards for purchasing goods at the Central Police Canteen and the Police Family Welfare Association Canteen.
