Port Blair, Dec 26: The Pradesh Congress Committee, Andaman & Nicobar Islands observed the 12th anniversary of Tsunami at 10.00 a.m. on 26th December 2016 at Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair where a Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sabha was organized.
All leaders and supporters of Congress and general public in large number have offered floral tribute on the portrait of Tsunami Memorial. Candles were also lit in memory of the departed souls. Priests from Roman Catholic Church, Goalghar, Radha Krishna Temple, Junglighat, Jama Masjid, Aberdeen Bazar, Dr. Diwan Singh Gurudwara, Gurudwara Line and Buddhist Temple, Phonychang, have offered prayer for the eternal peace of the departed souls. A two minute silence was also observed.
