Port Blair, Dec 06: Due to incessant rain and cyclonic weather today, a mango tree lost its grip on the soft soil and fell on a Washroom of a house situated at School Line. No one suffered any injuries in the incident.
As per the owner of the house, he was requesting his neighbor to cut the tree since a long time as the tree belongs to him but that was not done.“There is also a Coconut Tree which is about to fall at any point of time,” said the House Owner.
After the matter was reported to the Forest Department a team of Forest Department immediately reached the spot and cleared the fallen tree. The Washroom of the House suffered some damages, it is learnt.
