Port Blair, Dec 06: Heavy to very heavy rain (07-20 cm) very likely to occur at a few places over Nicobar Islands. Heavy rain (07-11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over Andaman Islands during next 02 Days.
Under the influence of well marked low pressure area over South Andaman sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal, strong Northeasterly to Easterly wind speed between 25 and 35 kmph gusting to 45 kmph and likely to increase 40 to 50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph with squally weather and rough to very rough seas likely along and off Andaman and Nicobar coasts. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.
