Port Blair, Dec 01: The news of theft in Hut Bay Panchayat is still fresh in the minds of public and now there is yet another news of another theft at V K Pur Panchayat of Little Andaman.
According to details yesterday when the workers of V K Pur Panchayat reached the office they found the front door’s lock is opened. They immediately informed the matter to police
When police team entered the Panchayat they found that the Main Almirah of V K Pur Panchayat is open and all the documents are lying scattered all over the floor.
Panchayat Members suspect that it’s an attempt to steal some crucial documents of the Panchayat as everyone knows that after cash theft at Hut Bay Panchayat, all Panchayats have been advised by police to keep cash in banks.
Police is investigating this matter and a case has already been registered in this regard.
