Port Blair, Nov 21: Shri Jaydeep Kumar Dey, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman attended a Gram Sabha meeting held at Panchayat Hall, Hope Town, Gram Panchayat on 19.11.2016 at 10.00 a.m. wherein Pradhan, Panchayat Samiti Member, Hope Town and other villagers were also present. The meeting was called for discussing various works related to the development of village.
The villagers mainly requested the Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman to sort out the problems of L.P.G distribution & Booking problems.
Besides attending the above meeting at Hope Town, Gram Panchayat, the Adhyaksh, along with Zilla Parishad Member, Shore Point Constituency and officials of Engineering Wing, has also inspected the performance in civil work of improvement of road at Valluvar Nagar and North Bay village road under Bambooflat –II and Hope Town Gram Panchayat. He also directed the concerned officials to undertake and complete the works on priority basis.
