Diglipur, Nov 18: The Anti Corruption unit today visited Diglipur’s Madhupur village alongwith the AE, APWD and members of Settler’s Offspring Welfare Organisation to investigate the matter of using sub-standard materials for road construction.
Earlier, the Settler’s Offspring Welfare Organization (SOWO) at Diglipur complained to the Lt. Governor regarding sub standard road construction on Madhupur road at Diglipur.
The Anti-Corruption Department today collected samples from various places of the road.
After that they also visited road constriction places at Subhashgram and RK Gram.
The SOWO had earlier alleged that within one month of the construction of that road in June the road had developed pot holes and got completely damaged, which indicates use of sub-standard materials.
