Port Blair, Nov 10: Mr. Vishal Jolly the President of A & N State BJP unit has appreciated the move of Administration to open Operation theatre at CHC Bambooflat.
In a press release Mr. Jolly today said that the people of Rural South Andaman are gifted by the Andaman & Nicobar Administration with an Operation theatre at CHC Bambooflat.
“The Initiative taken by Dr.Shipra Paul, DHS under the able leadership of Lieutenant Governor of A & N Island Prof. Jagdish Mukhi in this regard is commendable since no such view was taken by anyone previously with regard to extending added Health facilities to the Rural folk. So far the patients of the area had to come at G.B.Pant Hospital Port Blair for any kind of operation including minor ones for want of such facilities anywhere other than G.B.Pant,” he said.
Mr. Jolly added that the OT can be of great help to the poor rural population of south Andaman, Particularly the area between hope town to Tushnabad covering about 20,000 population under 10-12 gram panchayats.
“Most of the opinion leaders and PRI members have expressed their gratitude on setting up of an OT at CHC Bambooflat which is considered to be a Milestone in this field. Such innovative and pro-public initiatives in the field of Heath Sector would be remembered for days to come,” he added.
