Port Blair, Oct 24: As part of ‘Swatch Bharat Abhiyan’, NSS unit of Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder conducted one day cleanliness drive at Karmatang Beach on 22th October 2016. The Guest on the Occasion Shri. Sony Thomas., Ex-Up-Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, N & M Andaman district appreciated the work undertaken at the site and also interacted with the NSS Volunteers. In his address highlighted the significance of Swatch Mission and it can be accomplished only by individual efforts to make surroundings neat and clean. Altogether 44 NSS Volunteers have participated in the event. The entire programme was coordinated by Dr. R V R Murthy, NSS Programme Officer, MGGC, Mayabunder.
