Diglipur, Oct 20: About one hundred women filed a written complaint to the Asst Commissioner/SDM Diglipur about rampant selling of IMFL and bootlegging at Radhanagar village at Diglipur and alleged that no action is being taken since long time.
The SDM cum Asst Commissioner Shri A K Trivedi summoned the complainants as well the accused personnel today.
An NCFIR was also filed in this matter U/S 504/506 at P S Diglipur.
After appearance in before SDM the accused personnel allegedly threatened the woman complainants with dire consequences and said that no one can stop them from bootlegging and even many police also visiting their shops.
Taking Suo Motto action by the SDM under section 107/116(3)/ 151 of CrPC, all four accused Ajit Mondal aged about 65 yrs, M.Gunasekharan 65yrs, M.Selvaraj 55 yrs, Satyaseelan 68yrs were sent to four days Judicial Custody at Mayabunder District jail today.
