Port Blair, Oct 19: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman visited Sippighat, Tylerabad, New Bimblitan and nearby areas along with the Pradhan, Sippighat Gram Panchayat to trace out the vacant land available for the proposed various community developments works. During the visit the Dy. Commissioner inspected the natural water resource proposed to be developed as pond for supply of potable water to the general public and also inspected the rural water distribution system by the Gram Panchayat. Dy. Commissioner also visited the graveyard land at New Bimblitan which is managed by the panchayat. The Dy. Commissioner has ensured that available vacant land will be utilized for community development activities viz. shopping complex etc.
