Port Blair, Oct 16: The Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands condoles the sudden demise of Shri S.K. Wazid, former leader of APWD workshop employees union and Vice-Chairman, A&N Govt. Employees & Workers Federation who died on 15.10.2016 at G.B.Pant Hospital, Port Blair. He was a militant leader of Workers and worked alongwith the legendry leader Com. P.K. S Prasad in many struggles. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his wife, 6 daughters and 2 sons. The Association conveys its deepest condolences to the bereaved members of his family.
Meanwhile, Centre of Indian Trade Unions, Andaman and Nicoabr State Committee deeply mourn the demise of Comrade S.K. Wazid, former leader of the APWD Workshop Employees Union.
