Port Blair, Oct 16: Taking swift action after sighting a Crocodile at Junglighat Jetty recently, the Wildlife Division South Andaman has placed three different cages near Junglighat Jetty.
The first cage has been placed at Junglighat Jetty, while the second is placed at Coastguard Jetty and third has been placed between both the jetties.
As per reports, even after the area coming under the jurisdiction of South Andaman Division, the DCF Wildlife personally took up the task and also constructed 2-3 more cages to capture Crocodile.
The team under the leadership of Deputy Ranger, Manjit Singh has already placed these cages and is continuously keeping a watch on it.
