Port Blair, Sept 29: On 21.09.2016, a meeting of the District level Operation Committee (DLOC) in connection with “Protocol of Surveillance” was held under the Chairmanship of Shri Parvinder Singh, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District at the District Police Headquarter which was also attended by the officials of Forest, Fisheries, Dy. SP (Rangat/Diglipur) and SHO PS Mayabunder. The issue of Joint patrolling by Police, AAJVS and Forest in the Jarawa Reserve area, sensitization among fisherman by the fisheries department about the Jarawa Reserve area, better coordination among all the agencies to ensure safety and security of the Jarawa Tribes, intensifying surveillance on previously involved persons in the cases of PAT Regulation etc. were discussed in detail.
