Port Blair, Sept 28: In a simple function held on today i.e on 28/09/2016, Shri B. Eswar Rao, Chairperson Port Blair Municipal Council laid foundation stone for construction of New Black Top Road at Dudh line, Ward No.12 in the presence of Shri Yashpal Garg, Secretary, PBMC and Shri SNN Gregory, Jr. Vice Chairperson.
Sr. Vice Chairperson, Councilors and officers of the Council were also present on the occasion. While welcoming the gathering Shri SNN Gregory, Jr. Vice Chairperson, iterated that on completion of construction of this black top road will dispel the problems being faced by the citizens and school going children of the area, especially during the rainy seasons.
The Chairperson Shri.B.Eswar Rao speaking on the occasion said that the Port Blair Municipal Council is committed on its endeavor of providing the basic amenities to the urban populace. He further exhorted that the Council is working in full fledge for providing better civic services.
The resident expressed their gratitude for the support and initiatives rendered for towards resolving their issues.
