Port Blair, Sept 28: Shri Udit Prakash Rai(IAS), DC South Andaman/Director RD, PRIs & ULB, A & N Admin visited at Gram Panchayat Mannarghat on 24/09/2016 during his visit along with Pradhan Shri O. Bashir, he examined the area, where land slide took place due to heavy rain on late-night on 22/9/2016.
He inspected the house of Shri Paul Parkash Lakra at Mannarghat – 5, whereas his bathroom has completely dumped on the soil. He ensured to make all possible help for providing compensation and make arrangement to build a retaining wall for provide necessary protection of his house.
Pradhan Shri O. Bashir showed the blind turning on 03 places on the road at Mannarghat Rural Road, which is the main reason of road accident. The DC assured that the matter will be taken up with the concern executive engineer. The Pradhan expressed sincere thanks for his visit to the gram panchayat.
