Port Blair, Sept 25: Continuing the special drive to check the operation of Bars in the South Andaman, an inspection team of District Administration visited 8 Bars operating in Aberdeen Bazar and surrounding areas on Friday and detected gross violations by the Bar owners in not complying with terms & Conditions/ guidelines prescribed for Bar Licence holders.
Licence of all these 8 Bar Owners have been suspended and they have been asked to Show cause as to why their Bar Licenses should not be cancelled for the foresaid violations of terms & conditions of guidelines prescribed for such Licenses. Names of the Bars whose Licenses have been suspended are K.P.N Bar & Restaurant, Mohanpura, Hotel Ram Niwas, Babu lane Aberdeen Bazar, Island Tower, Shastri Road, Aberdeen Bazar, Hotel S.S.K Bar & Restaurant, Sisty Nagar, Honey Everest Bar, Babu Lane, Hotel North Bay View, Dugnabad, Sann Marino Residency (RC Bar), Middle Point, K.A.S.M Bar & Restaurant, Lamba Line. .
All the Bar owners operating in South Andaman District are hereby cautioned to terms & conditions of guidelines prescribed for Bar Licenses and referring from indulging in unauthorized practices which may further disturb public tranquility, otherwise strict action as prescribed under the rules shall be taken. Anybody who observes such violations by Bar Owner may report the same to District Administration Control Room on Ph. No. 238881.
