Port Blair, Sept 22: Two Frigates of the Bangladesh Navy, BNS Somudra Avijan and BNS Somudra Joy arrived here on Wednesday on a goodwill visit. The Commanding Officers of the ships, Captain Mohammad Kamrul Hoque Chowdhury and Captain M Humayun Kabir called on Cmde Girish Kumar Garg, Naval Component Commander (A&N). During the ship’s stay at Port Blair various professional and social interactions are scheduled between the Indian Navy and the Bangladesh Navy. The ships will depart Port Blair on Sept 25.
