Port Blair, Sept 22: An inspection Team of District Administration made a surprise check of 12 Bars located in different areas of Port Blair and following 09 Bars were found violating terms and conditions prescribed for the Bar license i.e G.J.N Bar and Restaurant Dairy Farm , SMS Bar & Restaurant Dairy Farm, Hotel Signature Dairy Farm, MSM Bar & Restaurant, Dharma Cool Bar Junglighat, Maharaja Bar & Restaurant Delanipur, Hotel Atithi Palace Delanipur and M/s Shalini Bar & Restaurant, Junglighat.
BAR licenses of these 09 Bars have been suspended with immediate effect and Show Cause Notices have been issued to them as to why their licenses should not be cancelled for violation of terms &conditions Bar license. These Bars have been directed to stop their operation forthwith.
District Administration will continue and intensify its drive against Bars found violating the terms & conditions for the Bar licenses and same should be followed by all the Bar owners scrupulously. Strict Action will be taken against the Bars which do not follow their prescribed terms & conditions for the grant of Bar license.
Why suspended?
Administration must cancel the licenses of these bars.
