Port Blair, Sept 16: As part of Memorandum of Understanding signed between the A &N Administration and Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Government of India, New Delhi in May this year, ICCR is deputing two International Cultural Groups to perform at Port Blair in September 2016. A Polish Jazz group will perform at DBRAIT Auditorium, Port Blair on 24th September 2016. On the occasion of World Tourism Day, an International Flutist group comprising of Indian and Slovakian artists will perform at Port Blair on 27th September 2016.
This initiative of the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration in collaboration with ICCR would not only strengthen cultural ties between India and other participating nations but would also facilitate the islands towards understanding and appreciating International Cultural Landscape.
