Port Blair, Sept 16: The Lt Governor of A&N Islands, Prof Jagdish Mukhi, has condoled the unfortunate death of Shri Biplab Das, aged 28, resident of Sardar Tikry, Sitanagar, Diglipur who died after being electrocuted by a HT line which had fallen on the road by a massive broken branch of a tree near his house.
The Lt Governor has also conveyed his deep condolences to the members of the bereaved family and declared an amount of Rs 1 lakh as relief from LG’s Relief Fund. He further directed Administration to provide relief to the family as per norms.
