Port Blair, Sept 12: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman/Director RD, PRIs & ULB, Mr Udit Prakash Rai and the Assistant Commissioner (Settlement), Mr Tripati along with Mr O. Bashir, Pradhan visited at Gram Panchayat Mannarghat on recently and inspected various developmental activities under Gram Panchayat Mannarghat such as Vegetable Market, propose site for construction of Aganwadi Building at Malapuram – 1. They also inspected the disputed surrendered land of Smt KP Amina and others for construction of CC Path and drain and assured to sort out the dispute soon.
Regarding dismantling the old panchayat market at Malapuram, the Deputy Commissioner informed that the process is under progress and file has been sent to the Lt. Governor for approval. Allotment of land for construction of Panchayat Office, he inspected the various unutilized government vacant land such as adjacent area of GPS Malapuram and ensure to do needful for early allotment the land for the purpose. The Pradhan expressed his sincere thanks on the behalf of pupils of gram panchayat Mannarghat for his positive steps related to development of Gram Panchayat Mannarghat.
