Port Blair, Sept 11: All domestic electricity consumer of Electricity Department have been informed that distributions of 9 Watt LED Bulb to all domestic consumers of Andaman & Nicobar Islands on subsidized rate i.e. Rs. 10/- bulb under the DELP-SOP programme launched by Prime Minister of India, is currently in progress. Domestic electricity consumers who does not collected their LED Bulb till date, have been requested to collect LED bulbs from their respective site office by producing latest electricity bill payment receipt and handover four CFL (20 Watt or higher rating) or ordinary bulbs (60 watt or higher rating) to the distributing authority and on payment of Rs. 40/-, i.e. @Rs. 10/- per bulb. For further clarification if any related to LED Bulb distribution, the consumers may contact the Junior Engineer/Assistant Engineer of the respective site offices.
