Port Blair, Sept 09: As part of insurance week celebrations, LIC of India, Mayabunder branch donated 20 flower pots and saplings to Govt. Model Senior Secondary school, Mayabunder. In a simple function in the school premises, Smti. Sulochna, VP of the school, teachers and students in presence of Shri Abhijeet Chowdhary, Branch Manager, Mayabunder branch planted the saplings.
It is indeed a noble gesture by the largest insurer of the nation. In her address, The Vice Principal expressed gratitude towards the organisation. The branch manager reiterated the organisation’s commitment in such social causes and assured for such support in future as well. The programme ended with vote of thanks.
