Port Blair, Sept 01: As assured during the General Body Meeting of Gram Sabha Mannarghat recently, Mr Chozhi, Executive Engineer, RCD, APWD, visited the various sites on Wednesday accompanied with Pradhan, Mr O. Bashir, in connection with protection of flooding area under jurisdiction of gram panchayat. After visiting various sites, he assured the affected villagers to extend all possible help to protect their houses and agriculture land from being damaged by flooding. The assurance was given on the capacity of being member of Regional Committee for Scientific Assessment of Flood Prone Area UT of ANI. The Pradhan expressed gratitude to the Executive Engineer on the behalf of the affected villagers for the assurance.
